I just got 3 leopard gecko's from someone on here that was selling all of hers. They are so cute, I'll post pictures of them in "Show off your Leo" or whatever that section is called, but I just wanted to show my cage and make sure its okay....

Here is the whole aquarium. Its a 50 gal w/ a screened cover and a Red Nocturnal light for heat, since I couldn't get a UTH big enough for the tank.

Here is their warm side. It has a double level humid houses, which they have used both of already, so I know they can get into the top one too. One gecko has spent most of the day in the lower one. It also showes the double level hidie I made from a couple of containers and then decorated. :)

Here is the cooler side of the cage. The food and water dish are on this side too. I just remembered I'm missing the calcuim dish, but I have some, just need to get into the dish. (I have a vitamin dust too, when am I suppose to use that and do you need a separate dish for it too??)

Very neat enclosure!
Maybe you could glue some sand to the slide so they can climb up and down it.
Just an idea.

Actually they have no problem getting up and down the slide and love using it to get the roof of the hidie!!! (Reason my son made it, because they kept trying to climb onto the roof of the hidie, but sometimes couldn't make it, so he wanted it to be easier!! :p)

ETA, I see now why you think it might need texture on the slide. It must be the angle I took the picture, but its not really steep at all, just barely a slant. :)
