Yesterday I got two leos, one of them has skin stuck around his toes and on his head. I was going to give him a few days before I attempted to remove the stuck skin, however he now has scrapes on his head from trying to remove it. The problem is he is a new gecko and therefor he is a bit skittish with me and still a bit stressed. So the question is do I give him a bath now,or give him a few days despite the harm he is doing himself? I'm worried the scrapes will get worse.

Do what you need for the gecko, get the skin off. They won't understand it, they'll bark at you, but you know you're doing it a favor.

Another solution is to put the gecko in a moist hide, and observe to see if the gecko can get the skins off with a very humid moist hide. Sometimes they just need to spend some time in the moist hide to get the shed off.
