All are gorgeous! I really like the Snow Raptor, hoping to produce one of those myself this year to hold back!

Steve has great geckos. You will love them all! I don't even want to know how much I've spent with him over the years. ;)

Man there even nicer now that I looking at them on my computer and not my phone. Man the DB is white, and that mack raptor has some serious colors going on Steve's stuff is killer.

I can't wait to see them in person!! :D I am on my laptop because my desktop powerhouse is failing AGAIN!! :(

On this computer:

g8 looks just like g7 EXCEPT for some slight yellowing on the "eye" pics...
g9 has the crazy colors?? what causes the raptor to have the "blizzard-colored spotting"?

Out of curiosity, what's the plan with the het marble eye? It doesn't look like it fits in with anything else?

g10 + g11...

shtct male + Tremper shtct het marble eye (aka "Tremper sunglow het marble eye") =

shtct het tremper ph marble eye hatchlings :)

----------------------------------------

I'm not crossing a marble eye with any eclipse-genes

They are finally here, and they look AWESOME!! Some are some big squirley ones so I am gonna have to watch them!! It's gonna be a busy day!! I'll let them settle in while I make some more hides and go buy water dishes (since I can't find the extra's (never used) I bought 2 weeks ago. :D Can't wait to feed them tonight....!!! So exciting!!

Then what? Not a good breeding plan IMO.

....then breed a hatchling back to the Tremper het marble eye. Yes it is "rolling the dice". 2nd year produces:
-about half Trempers; half will be "het tremper"
-HOPEFULLY, about 1/4 of all the hatchlings will be Marble eye (if this hatchling got the "het marble eye").

It would be a good plan if your marble eye was a male because you could roll the dice on multiple females (50% would be het), but instead you only get to breed one male back and if he isn't het, you start all over again and could miss the next year as well.

Yes it is "rolling the dice".

It will not be the end of the world if my future-male-hatchling doesn't get the "het Marble eye". And yes, that would have been preferable IF he had a male for sale.

There are other options for next year:

1) future-hatcling males x future-hatchling females to create a small variety of hatchlings and possibly prove 2 @ a time.
2) I may even have picked up a male Tremper Marble eye by next year...

What it comes down to is this: I was buying a blood SHTCT female and a SHTCT male.....and had enough for another SHTCT female....so the "het marble eye" is just a fun bonus to play with. Please PM me with any questions regarding breeding plans. This particular thread is in "show off your leo's" and I intend to just post pics here.

Great, now I can't stop thinking about it!!! Now I want my "bonus gene" to be a "focus gene".....gggrrrrrr.....lol :p Anyone know where I can find an affordable hypo "atleast het marble eye" (prefer marble eye) MALE?? (I have a lot to do today, so I will be searching for a male tonight) :(
