New male, when can i breed him?

Hes of full weight and i got him last sunday. i have an ovulating female and i was wondering when i should put them together. This gecko has eaten 4 meals since i got him.(8-10 mealworms per meal)

You should quarantine him in his own tub/tank/enclosure for at least 30 days, preferably 90 days though imo.

I agree, if you don't properly quarantine the gecko you could possibly end up infecting your female. Quarantine periods are essential for new geckos as it prevents the spread of possible diseases from one gecko to another. It's not absolute, but the risk of possible infection is still there nonetheless. Is that risk really worth it?

I couldn't agree more! I have known many people, including a couple of breeders, lose EVERYTHING because proper quarantine protocol was not followed.

I killed my first snake due to poor quarantine, so definitely obseve proper QT protocol.
