Hey everyone. I always hate introducing myself in forums. It feels like being the new kid in school after everyone has already been there for 3 months.
Anyway, I currently don't own any geckos. Many, MANY years ago I owned two leopard geckos. They were great, but due to moving and not having the space for them, I did the responsible thing and gave them to a friend of mine that kept many herps and would treat them right.
Now, some 15 years later, I'm ready to get back into things. This time around, I don't want to just get some big box, pet store gecko, but a nice, healthy specimen for a show cage.
No interest in starting a breeding program any time soon, but should I decide to in the future, I'd like to have something with known/proven genetics.
I live in Daytona Beach, and unfortunately I've had zero luck in finding any breeders or reputable dealers in the area, so I took to the internet and found this place. Forums have helped me in the past with my fish hobby and figured it would be the same with this.
I saw there's a repticon in Orlando in May, and a reptile expo here in Daytona in August, but hoping to find something before then.
If anyone knows of any breeders in the east central Florida area, that would be great. If not, I still look forward to getting to know you all sharing stories and pictures with my fellow hobbyists.
