New owner with some questions

hey guys,
i bought a new leo on sunday. hes estimated at almost a year, and spend the last 6 months at a local pet shop. he was in good health when i first saw him, strong, hardy, and full of life. tail was nice and fat and colors are vibrant on him. his eyes are clear and handsome. so i brought him home and introduced him to his new tank. 20 gallon, 2 hides, UTH probe temp and the hot side sits at about 92 degrees F during the day. IR bulb at night to help regulate temp (my room gets a little cold and it drops to 83-86 depending on ambient temp), water dish, play sand substrate and stone slabs all over (to discourage eating sand) a cap of calcium powder (also to discourage eating sand). now on to my question. when i had picked him up he had a cricket or 2 in his tank with him, so ill assume that was his feeding day. i tried to give him a cricket last night, but he wasn't even interested, just hung out in his hide. so i removed the cricket, and a wax worm as a treat, but no dice. it is possible im just overreacting but i want to make sure hes ok. i will try again later today when i get home but hes very friendly to handle he climbs all over my shoulder and back and walks in my hands with no real fear. he allows me to pet him when walking around his tank with out too much fuss (depends on his mood). i will post photos when i get home later, i think he is just a normal color pattern ( i have no knowledge of morphs).

so recap
1. he hasnt eaten since coming home with me - am i doing something wrong?
i have crickets that i am gutloading and dusting, meal worms, and wax worms for an occasional treat.

2. any general tips you guys can add (aside from the same things your read everywhere on gecko care)

thanks soo much :D

you got him on sunday, correct? it is only tuesday-- so don't worry about him not having eaten anything. it takes a few days for them to adjust to a new home, and they generally don't eat after big changes like that. they are absolutely fine not eating for a few days. nothing to worry about!

I just got my Leo last weds, here is what he's ate since I got him
Thursday ate 3 superworms and 1 large cricket
Friday he pooped
Saturday he shed
Sunday he at 3 large crickets and pooped
Monday I offered food but not interested
I haven't tried to feed today. He is 4 yrs old about 9 1/2 inches long. As you can see it's almost been a week for me and he hasn't ate that much.

Don't stress yourself out it hasn't been that long, I know I was going crazy because he wasn't eating that much. They are all different and some need awhile to get use to the new home. They will eat when they are hungry, as long as there isn't any weight loss everything should be fine.

As said above just offer food and if they don't take it then no worries just try the next day.

first of all thanks for everyones input. attached is a couple of photos of him (i dont think hes a special morph, then again i know nothing about morphs, so ill let you guys judge) and a night pic of most of his tank (i will post a better clear daytime one today). cut out of the tank photo is a large water dish, cool hide and calc powder. i need to get a moist hide up today.
the cave under the IR light is his favorite spot to hide

-today before i left for work i took a cricket that was gut loaded for the last few days, gave him a good lil dusting, cut of his legs so he wouldnt run in the sand (i just changed my substrate today from sand to stone pics below) and when i got home he had eaten it so all is well hes getting much more comfy with his new home

Just keep offering him food he should eat in no time. When he starts eating he's probably gonna chow down. My Leo has ate two days in a row now, I'm pretty happy about that. He seems to be coming around now. Today is a week now that I've had him.
