its name is Perseus. (greek: to destroy) i have it in a medium kritter keeper with a waterbowl, its on paper towel and a little moss. it is kept at temps in the low to mid 80s. ive read a lot of conflicting information on their care, particularly on feeding... any advice would be great, like how many crickets to feed in a feeding and how often. i know they feed less frequently as they get older and bebefit from an occasional pinkie.

Great looking cranni. I would remove the moss though, it causes impaction in these frogs which can lead to death. It can also wrap itself around the intestinal tract and cut off circulation. Coco fiber is the best substrate for them.

Here's a great care sheet for them.

cutie! But yes get rid of that moss. bead a beast works fantastic and keeps humidity high.
what are you using for a heat source?
I still want to get my albino, I have an entire set up just no frog

sorry, i havent been around for a while. i removed the moss after a couple days and have cocofiber down now. its all i use now for all my critters requiring a particle substrate, minus my ants.

heat is provided by incandescent lights, though they only hit the edges of the container. my room is very warm during these summer months, and especially now where its 85*F inside during the middle of the night, thanks to a broken a/c, so it really doesnt need any supplimental heat at this time of the year.

its a very calm frog, ive yet to have it try to bite me and it seems to accept handling pretty well. (i make sure to wash with water thoroghly before handling)
