New rack questions

I will have a 1.3 or 1.2 breeder group soon :grin3: :evilgrin: . About how many housings will I need if I use 15Qt for all. Adults will be housed 1 to a tub. How many then will I need for the offspring if housed 2 to a tub? I know its variable but I need somewhere to start. How does everyone measure temps in racks do you use digital in each or is a cheap stick good? Whats better to use in a variable temp environment with heat tape a rehostat(or dimmer) or thermostat? I'm sure I'll have more questions before its all done but any help would be nice thanks.

I would figure for at least 10 babies from each female. If they are first year breeders you many not get that many...but you could get a lot more!

So with a 4'Hx2'Wx1.5'L space I can fit 16 15qt. tubs 2 or 3 being for the adults which leaves 13 or 14 for hatchlings. So at 2 a tub I could house 26-28 hatchlings. Will this be fine for 3 first year females or should I just go with 2?
