Well the wait is over ... finally got it in and a minor problem but very curious about it if anyone could help me with it please there is a gap between the tub and the shelf of 1/16th ".... was there on purpose for the tape and foil tape thought it would raise it that much but evid not but i dont think there's a problem with it i dont see any adults getting out..

what about the gap it's only about 1/16th an inch i don't think it'll cause any problems.

it should be fine just when you put a leo in the tub watch it. As long as it cant climb the side of the wall you will be fine and it will allow more room for air flow

Looks like more than 1/16" to me but still small enough that you shouldn't see any issues or escapes. Just don't put any small snakes in one of those!!

It's good to have some gapping like that, if it were too tight you may have to worry about the flexwatt being worn down to the metal and causing other bigger issues.
