Finally got our Boaphile racks and got the chance to set them up tonight.

Now the boring part of warming them up and playing with the temps.

Awesome! I'm jealous, definitely a cleaner look than my home made racks.. I'm curious how much something like that would set someone back? Feel free to pm it if you don't want to post what you paid, but I am interested in a set of these myself.

Being that i have the same rack, i know it set me back $469 per 12 tubs. They are top notch, but pricey. I needed 48 more tubs last week so Boaphile was outta the question! LOL!! $2000?? no thanks! Scored a giant rack on craigslist!

Ouch that is a hurt on the wallet. I'm looking for 40x 16qt for the adults, and then a 100x 6qt for hatchlings :x. Preparing for next season but it looks like ill be building the new ones too :p

Those racks are top notch though, wish I had the money :p

I don't mind posting the prices here should it help someone else out who may be trying to figure out what route to go.

The racks themselves cost 898 for the pair. (Keep in mind shipping and tubs were included.) and the Herpstat Thermostat (we ordered 2) cost 231.61 (109 each from the bean farm, 13.63 for shipping.)

I did price Animal Plastic racks before hand as their economy racks are cheaper but our place does get drafty in the winter. So heating something with open sides would be an issue. Another plus is these racks did come fully assembled. It was a long wait to get them, but work it.

And of all things in the room you see the gummi bears on the desk. Not the epically cool Boondock Saints movie poster on the wall, the other rack, or how messy the room still is, but the gummi bears. LMAO

Animal plastics also has closed sided racks for not much more than the 1753 racks.

Yeah, I had checked those out. I believe those were the Iris racks? That was about the same time I started looking at these. The thing that got me set on these was the bins came with the rack opposed to the AP racks where you had to go out and buy your own. At least this way I knew I'd be able to have enough to fill the rack should it be a difficult size to find.
