Since yesterday evening we have another (temporary) addition.
We took her from the pet store we always get our crickets etc.
She has been like this for several months and it has been worse. I spoke to them about her about 3-4 months ago and they'd seperate her. She then was taken out of the store in a seperate area and I never saw her again. Yesterday she was in a seperate viv in the shop area again and still not looking too good. So I spoke to the manager again (We know the people there pretty well so that helped) and let us take her since he knows we have several leos and breed them etc. I didnt expect him to give her to us so that was great! Anyway we're gonna put some weight on her lol and then she is going back although I might want to buy her if she gets any better she is sooo sweet. Just hope she makes it.
Here she is pic taken as soon as we got home, we also weighed her and she was 22,6 grams and about 5 inches in lenght: note that she is at least 8 months old but could also be 2 years..
Sorry for the long story but Ive been thinking about her all these months and now we can hopefully finally help her

sorry for the crappy pic, just wanted to give you an idea of what she looks like, you can't see her face but it's kinda denty from the weight loss as well, lost most of her toes etc. and actually looks 'good' in this pic

Thank you :) yeah Im so glad we could finally take her with us after all these months :)
and since I temprarily dont have a job at the moment the geckos can have all the attention they need all day long :) She already ate some mealies so thats a good sign and shes pretty active. Im just waiting for her to poop now :p lol check if everything looks okay.
And yeah I wish we could keep her but it's still a pet store so I didnt expect them to.. but we'll see what happens when she;s nice and healthy again the pet store said we'd discuss what to do with her then :) so youll never know.

I sold some feeder mice to a guy the other day and he showed me a few leos his daughter had hatched. One of them was incredibly thin, almost looked like it had crypto or something. I told him it needed food. He said he had some roaches. I told him to put some mealies in a bowl for it. I thought of asking them if they'd like me to nurse it back to health since the girl doesn't seem to be taking very good care of it at all, but I'm not sure if I should risk bringing it here in case it's sick. Very sad. :(

thank you ^_^ sure hope so Im going to the vets today with a fecal sample just to make sure wether she has some kind of parasite or not and for the safety of my own collection. Even though she;s in a seperate tub is the last one we handle and feed etc. and we do desinfect our hands, we just want to make sure

Wow! Congrats on getting her before she got any worse! She looks skinny but not too bad. I can't imagine what she would look like if you hadn't got her...I don't want to imagine it.

Any way, good luck with her! I'm sure she'll bring a smile to your face once she starts gaining some weight back.
