New tarantulas came in!

I bought a Chaco Golden Knee sometime in the middle of December of last year and now have 4 more. These little guys are so addicting! I now have 2 1" Lasiodora Parahybanas, 1 1" Avicularia Versicolor and 1 1" Pterinochilus Murinus.

Lol. I couldn't pass it up. I love how they can web up their enclosures. It hasn't given me a threat display yet but I know it will soon. I was real close to getting scorpions as well but my wife said that's the ONE thing she WON'T allow in the house. Oh well.:main_laugh:

That's odd. I think there's more to be worried about with an escaped theraphosid or Pede, but to each their own.

You'll be able to watch that L. parahybana grow pretty much daily. If I remember correctly, they're one of the faster growers.

And keep your fingers away from that P. murinus! :main_evilgrin:

A. versicolor have got to be the nicest slings with that electric blue color. Great Choices! :main_thumbsup: I'd say have fun, but I'm sure you already are!

When my wife went on vacation to Mexico when she was young, she was about go to bed and found a yellow scorpion on her pillow. She said she got so freaked out and since then she hates them. I'll give her a lil more time.:main_evilgrin: I enjoy them already and I barely had them a week.:main_thumbsup:
