I am new to leopard gecko breeding and my female is about to lay eggs for the first time! She clearly has eggs in her stomach and I have removed the male and she is alone in the tank waiting to lay the eggs! Once she lays them and they are moved to the incubator what happens next? I know she must eat and keep up her calcium but how long after should I re-introduce the male to start the cycle again? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

She will still hold his sperm inside her for future use, so even if you don't re-introduce the male she still has the potential to lay a few more clutches. Also periodically check her weight and make sure she is staying above 40g, to keep her in good condition feed her waxworms and pinky mice if she'll take them that will give her fat reserves and calcium to form eggs. Good Luck with your new found success!:main_thumbsup:
