I feed mine crickets and cgd "crested gecko diet" it is a powder supplement that you fix with water. I give it to fine every few days, some people do every day or every two - three. You just mix it and I put it into gatorade gaps I also dust my crickets with calcium a couple times a week. Mainly crickets every night for the young every couple or few for adults

That tank would be ok for a young one but as it gets older youd probably have to get a bigger one because these guys can be pretty active. I think the best substrate is paper towel, i know it looks the worst but if you feed yours crickets, and i suggest you do, along with the powder, they dive on the crickets and will get mouth fulls of loose substrate so the paper towel works the best.

Any CGD is good, i use T-Rex Crested Gecko Diet, but i think its all the same. Use calcium powder too. To keep high humidity just mist a lot. I mist when i wake up and when they wake up in the evening time. My paper towels stay moist and thats good for humidity. Some people put in a shallow dish of water to help as well.

You can use that substrate it would be fine, they spend a lot of time in the leaves and on branches and on the side of the tank so its not that important. You can feed them baby food but it has a lot of sugar in it and thats not good for them, i only do that when i run out of CGD. Some people mix the CGD in with baby food too.
