new to geckos, question about shedding

ok so i have 2 tokays and an AFT

one night i saw my lil tokay in its favorite hide half shed, next morning fully shed and no sign of the shed

then this morning i see my big tokay half shed and then after about 20minutes, shes fully shed and theres no sign of the shed....


where did it go? do they eat it? cuz thats kinda gross IMO lol

ok now for the AFT, he has a moist hide and a cave with coco fiber in it, hes got a small amount of shed on his belly and thats it, no where else

any ideas?

lol yes they do eat their own shed :main_yes:

really? huh awesome less cage care lol, im assuming thats normal? could they get sick from it?

No sick from it. Fully natural and help maintain calcium and im sure more.
Consider it a vitamin.
I thought it was odd when I first got a Bearder dragon and found he does not eat it.
