hi im new to the forum, im mostly an aquarium guy but have 2 leopard geckos for about 6-7 years now, they are both in seperate ten gallon tanks which they l ook unhappy in, i want to put them in a larger terrarium, what size should i get, especially if i want to get a couple more, because the two i have now arent great together so putting more in should get rid of agression?

Welcome to GF.net :)

What sex are they ?
You could be experiencing aggression because they both are males!
Usually you can only keep one male with females - Two males in the same enclosure will fight!

Placing more geckos together will just add to the agression. I would not place a male & female together unless you plan on breeding. Otherwise males are kept alone or you could try two females together. BUT there is no gaurantee that any combo will get along. I tried placing two females in a 40 gallon breeder tank and they still did not get along. IMO I would just upgrade to 20 gallon long tanks and keep the two gecko separated.

i guess there both males then

Not necessarily, they might both be males, but we wouldn't know. You can sex them (image below) and try to see if they'd get along if they're a male/female or female/female... Just make sure they're the same size to prevent bullying. If they get along, you can stick them in a 20gal long.

If you plan on adding more, make sure the rest of them are females around the same size. But like Stitch said, there's no guarantee on if they'd all get along. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't. But the rule of thumb is no males together. Also, I personally would add another 10 gallons for another leo.. so if I had a 30 gal, I'd have 3 in there :) Some would go for 4, but I like to let them have some space and extra room to hide.

also the consensus seems to be to make sure you quarantine the new ones before you put them all in together.
