Hello all,
My name is Wes, and I'm new to Geckos and the forum.
Been doing a bit of research for the better part of a month now, and accrued a bit of equipment for my first creature.
On friday I plan to aquire a healthy male Crested Gecko I've already picked out at the pet shop.
I'm unsure of his age, but I determined he was definitely a male after I sexed him, and handled him for a bit. He's aWESome for sure.
While I'm not new to reptiles, I am VERY new to Geckos.
The same shop has a beautiful ADULT Skunk/White-stripped Gecko there too, of unknown sex or origin, that has been there for about six months or so, and they want him gone. Only $30.00.....
I held the little guy, and he went all Tokay on me.... yes, he bit me!
Being that I'm a Gecko newb, should I take on the Skunk Gecko too?
I've read that they *can* become quite friendly(much more so than Tokay's), but being that he's fiesty, and I'm new, I'm not sure if I should pass...
The Crested is a definite, but the Skunk is up in the air right now I guess....
Any info or suggestions is reatly appreciated.
