Hi, I'm new here (as you can see :p) I plan to get geckos soon, I don't know much about them (Don't know where to find a good care sheet) when I do get them, I want get 4 hatchlings (1 Regular male, 3 Morph females) I would house them in my old skink's cage (55 gallon, 48 x 13, and of course separated from my skink) just wanna get some advice on what I should do. :)

A really good care sheet is the one by geckosunlimited. If you google search "leopard gecko care sheets" it's down a few results. Next I'd suggest reading as many threads in here as possible, even if they are on the same subjects. Repetition is the key to learning! Then if you still have questions after that or need anything clarified, feel free to ask them here! Welcome aboard!

Thanks for directing me to the Care sheet! I read just about everything, but I've seen that many people use sand (Heard it was called Calcium Sand and if swallowed it's not bad) in their videos, also where can I find a full list of all basic morphs?

Thanks for the morphs, I suppose I'll get 1 regular male, 1 Bold stripe Female, and a red stripe female, hatchlings. I heard (according to: Leopard Gecko Substrates - the Substrate Debate ) It says slate rocks can be used. Is it good for hatchlings? And if so, how would it look like? Sadly I can't find any pics on google with the rocks :/

Any store/breeder I can find that sells cheap hatchling morphs?

I've never used slate but I personally like the softer substrates for babies since they're so delicate.

As for where to purchase them, check to see if there are any expos in your area. Pet stores should be avoided because you have no history of the animal, plus they often come with health issues. At an expo you can talk to the breeder and get any information you need to know like it's parents, it's lineage, it's eating habits etc.

I just hatched two babies if you're interested. My page is www.facebook.com/LepoGecko. I'll charge you $50 for the gecko plus shipping. Think about it. I can also include a very detailed care sheet. I can understand if you want a reputable breeder as I'm just starting out but take a look and let me know what you think
