Hello
I am new to Leo's and here but not new to reptiles I have had reptiles for over 30 years I currently have 1 Ball Python, 1 Red Tailed Boa, 2 Red Eyed tree frogs, 1 bearded dragon, 2 Marble geckos and soon a Gold Dust Day gecko. and maybe a Leo.

I found locally an adult leopard gecko at least 3 years old and it comes with a 10 gal. tank, under tank heater, water dish and etc. for $50 Is that deal ?

I been doing some reading and from what I read they can live up to 20 + years of age. So the age don't bother me is their any thing I need to look for heath wise?

Thanks

yes i'd say thats a pretty good deal, it cost for supplies to house the leo is roughly 50 bux not including a leopard gecko..

personally I wouldn't keep a leopard gecko in a 10 gallon, thats a very small tank!! All my leos are in a 20 gallon or larger..

Oh and health wise, the only thing i'd be really worried b out is the calcium intake.. its really important you dust the food with calcium and keep a lil dish of calcium in the tank at all times.. look up Ron Trempers website he gives really good information on how to care for leos!! :) Welcome to GF~!

Well I talked to the currant owner and asked some question and to find out they have never offered any calcium of any sort and they just give it 25-50 crickets once a week.
They sent me a picture of it and the tank is bare and very dirty but it looks healthy ?

What you guys think?
