So I put together this tank and I'm hoping I did it right. 10gal tank, Eco Carpet, corresponding UTH, Nat Geo Night Heat Infrared Bulb 50w, calcium dish, two shallow water dishes, hiding on cool side and moist box on warm side. Plus a little plant she likes to hide in. Did I miss anything? Or should I change anything?

Your set up looks good! Possibly might want to get a digital thermometer for the heat Matt and a thermostat for the heat Matt. Just to monitor the temps so it doesn't burn your gecko. A cheaper option on regulating temperature would be a light dimmer. Might have to check it a few times a day but it's better than nothing!

Looks good to me!! Lol, glad to see I'm not the only one who buys the hermit crab water dishes for 99 cents instead of the reptile dishes for 7 dollars [emoji6] [emoji6]

Oh my god laurahlove I couldn't believe the prices. I might upgrade when she gets larger but for now the tiny size suits her.
@kaylarawrz I thought about it but the mat I got doesn't seem to go above 75. I may get a digital thermometer though.

I know right!! And they're so little, too! I found this like, used pet store place where I live though and I get most of my dishes and normally expensive stuff there because they sell everything half price ;)

I would not put her humid hide directly under a heat lamp. I would also give her a hide on the warm side of the cage as well as the cool side of the cage. Put the moist hide in the middle. If your floor temps are correct with just the UTH, there really is no need for that heat lamp anyway.

Ok people here are the two new babies. One I was told is a mack snow albino with raptor, the other was a damaged cast off (missing tail). Can anyone help identify morphs.

They look really cute! I have no clue about morphs, but I just wanted to say about the second one, that he looks a little skinny. Make sure he is eating because often one gecko can eat all the food, so just keep a close eye and make sure he's getting all his calcium and vitamins. :) congrats!

Yea he is 6grams. Same as the other one actually, but he lost his tail so he is a work in progress.
