Just obtained the best White and Yellow we've ever seen...an amazing, colorful young male that will produce some nice geckos for us next year, and beyond. The best W/Y that breeder Matt Baronak produced this year, so we are thrilled to add him to our collection...can't wait for next year.

He is a W/Y out of the G project. He's 66% het Eclipse and 50% het Tremper. Most W/Y do not have this bright coloration but the G project has really bumped up the color. The combos with a male like this are endless. We'll choose a couple of select projects.

Matt really wanted to hold back this male but we twisted his arm, severely. Thanks to Matt. He's done great work and deserves all the credit.
We also picked up a really nice W/Y Eclipse female from him, among other things, to bolster our project list for next season....

This guy with one of your Hot Moose giants might make some awesome hatchlings... W/Y G Project Hot Moose Giant Raptors would be pretty sick haha what a mouthful.

I like the idea. Imagine a Super Giant Hot Moose WY... I'd also love to see Super Giant Marble Eyes. Those will all come in time. Lots of possibilities.

One of the keys to W/Y is to get the right line. There are some out there I'm not too convinced of. You need to get them from the original European line.

We bought a nice male sunglow from Matt recently. I can't wait to get the gecko and see it in person.

Congrats Ray on getting an awesome W&Y!

Love him! I purchased a W&Y from Matt Baronak's "original European line" a while back and have been thrilled with the results I've seen so far. It seems to me that W&Y only benifits the Leopard Gecko world in terms of unique coloring with no neurological effects as seen in the Enigmas. I also advise people to be cautious and inquire about the lineage of the W&Ys that they purchase. If it doesn't have W&Y genes, it's not a W&Y!!! :main_thumbsup:

That's my point Paul. I have been hesitant to get into W/Ys because I'd heard there are some that are not from the original line. One breeder I talked with about his work on them said he got a lot of normal looking geckos, nothing really nice, and he was very disappointed. Let the buyer beware. A top notch W/Y male is very expensive but worth it...be sure you do your homework before investing in them though.

I still love the Enigmas and we are having great success with our line crossing them with Mandarin. It's sad to see geckos with neuro syndrome and I think as breeders, we have to do everything we can to try to produce animals that function normally and have a good quality of life. Let's hope the W/Y will produce geckos as beautiful as Enigmas.
