I have a dubia escaped! :furious2:

I have 2 small roaches in a food bowl for Gutlei, my currently non-eating girl; the bowl had been in her tank for over 3 or 4 days and the roaches weren't able to escape from the bowl. So before I went to bed last night, I took it out, thinking the bowl is escape proof. This morning, I woke up, walked across my gecko room and then noticed there is only 1 roach left in the food bowl!! Grrr...Its my first roach escapee...I hope it can't live long.

If it suddenly re-appear in front of me with wings and stuff fully grown, I would be scared...:sick2:

Out of the bowl or out of the tank? This is pretty important, since I have promised everyone in the family that there is NO possible way these things will escape! lol, If your gecko walked through the bowl, the roach may have piggybacked out on its leg.

No, I took out the bowl from Gutlei's tank and placed it on my desk...(I shouldn't have done that! :wall:) Since these roaches weren't able to get out of the bowl for days, I thought it was safe to leave it out until the next morning. I was wrong!! They waited for their chances!! And now one of them suceeded to hide somewhere in my house...!!

Usually, when there are uneaten roaches, I'll use a pair of scissors and cut them in half then throw them in the bin, I was just toooooo lazy last night!!
