i have read here that many if not most ppl feed mealies to their leos rather than crickets. ive been feeding crickets , hate them like crazy. out of curiousity how many would a person feed their leo. mine is 6 mths old and weighs 22.8grams any suggestions as to how many initially i should feed and how often as well thank you ahead of time for your advice.

At 6 mos old your leo should be eating daily still imo @ 22 grams... at 7 mos you can consider going every other day with a snack on sunday to help quell the hunger. A regimented feeding of the same amount of mealies or superworms should be given at each feeding. At 7 mos old myt leo was going thru 10-15 mealies per feeding mon wed fri, and I'd give a treat of 4 on sun. However I switched to supers pretty fast and he gets 3-4 supers mon wed fri and still 4-5 mealies on sunday. If you're feeding daily I would think maybe 8 mealies or 1-2 supers should be a good place to start.

Ps welcome to the forum :)

depends on how old they are. at the age of yours, you could feed every day or every other day whatever is easiest. A good amount of mealworms if its everyother day, aboout 15 - 20.
10 ish if every day. he might not eat everyday, but its nice to give him the option.
