Newbie to Leo's

I just got my Leo today and his name is gizmo. He is not full grown so he's a juvinile and he has hissed at me 5 times. How do I hold it?

You really don't until he's adjusted to his new habitat, generally one week. He's hissing because he is scared and/or threatened. If you continue bothering it before it is comfortable then it will dislike you even more, possible irreversibly. Leave him alone for now.
