Okay Onebetta here with updates on Chance and Sunflower:
I swithced them to tile because they had something like mulch when i purchased Chance and used some temporarily in Sunflower's habitat. (The pic below just shows the tile layout without all the extras, i remove all the decor when feeding to make it easier to catch them crikets, do you guys do that?

Here is Chance's cage all done up

Is this just too much? He absoulutley loves to climb and although he sometimes slips off he usually does just fine. A short fall won't hurt too bad will it?

Here are both cages set up

Chance is a def favorite, although i've learned to not handle him after handling my female he laid down on my hand and i felt his tail start flickering and i just knew he was gonna latch on like he did when i dumbly tried to introduce the new female without really thinking it through. He bit her tail and i decided to seperate them and then he bit me and and my hubby had to pry him off

Good looking geckos and cool setup. While I don't remove decor while feeding crickets, I pull their hind legs off so they can't jump. I'm starting to do that with dubias roaches as well, and find my leos going for them with more excitement that way.

Nothing's wrong with decorations, what fun is it if you can't deck the tanks up :) Just make sure the fall isn't bad. I have a couple of leopard geckos that climb like they're crested geckos, and they'd claw at the top mesh and eventually fall. For those I had to remove whatever they used to climb up, as that's a pretty high fall and I wouldn't want them to hurt themselves or lose finger nails.

Mine love to rest on the plant as well, just like your last pic. It's so funny when they do that.

The tanks look nice to me. I love Sunflower - she's adorable! I too have a pet named Chance - a female white's tree frog. I love the name. :)

I actually just redid Clare's tank. Once the sun comes up a bit more I'll take a photo - its too dark still to get a good one.

The strawberry is kind of a hard rubber. So it is soft to the touch. Clare loves it. She occasionally patrols it to guard it, lol. You can see her in it in the picture if you look hard. She has her tail lifted at me in attack pose - silly gecko.

The tiles are slate, and they're just sitting on the bottom of the tank. I have a few raised ones - one where she bathrooms, one under her mealworm dish, and a couple under her strawberry. It gives the tank some slight levels, and visual interest since all the slates are different colors.
