It's been a little over a month now since I've had Kalea. She's adjusting well and has gained a good 8 grams since then. She's a bit of a finicky eater, so I adjusted her diet from mealworms to superworms and she seems to like those better. Here's some pics I took today.

I am glad that she is growing well for you. She looks great! I think you made a good call on switching up the diet when she gets picky. I will probably try the same thing with a few of my males that seem to have gotten picky over the last couple of weeks. If you aren't too far from White Plains you should come down and introduce yourself this weekend. the show is on Sunday and I will have Kalea's siblings for sale :) They are looking pretty awesome too.

Thanks, I really think she's something special. ;)
Along with being a stunner she's also very docile and gentle. She stayed on my arm like this for the past hour. :D [nevermind the tomboyish football jersey, I just wear it around the house]

I think you got some aptor lines in this, because she looks Aptor like to me. Either way that's a great looking gecko!

Paul,
Actually, this one has no Aptor in her although she looks that way. I produced her by breeding a nice Carrot Head Tangerine Tremper (Woody - on my site) I got from Alberto about 3 years ago back to one of his daughters who is a nice bright Hypo Tangerine Het for Tremper (Melanie - on my site). The mother of my Het (Melanie) was a SHTCT (again very tangerine) I had bought from Alberto back in 2003. I resold her after she produced the Hets for me. There weren't any Aptors or Raptors on the "public" market when I bought her, however. I am going to be working on mixing some cool stuff I bought from from Matt into this bloodline this year to (hopefully) produce some real nice carrot tail in my Sunglows and I am starting an Aptor/ Raptor project with them as well. I will breed Melanie's sister (Little Linda) with the Eclipse (poss het Tremper) below to prove out if he is het for Tremper. I will also breed him to the two Patternless Stripe (poss het Raptor) females below to see what happens. Check them out!
They were maybe 2 months old or so when I picked them up in in Sept. As of today they are over 44g each already. A few more months..... :D Again, Big thanks to Matt for these. They are growing like weeds. Sorry for rambling. See ya on Sunday.
