I actually got Jewel and my male for $200 from a guy getting out of keeping geckos, and he threw in a nice adult, male tiger crested gecko as a bonus. Pretty nice deal. Now I'm just "patiently" waiting for my hovabator to arrive so I can introduce them.

Curious about the use of the long fibered sphagnum moss. Ever
notice belly irritation/scratches from its use? I had it in my

No, I've never seen any issues with the moss. I've used it with my crested geckos for years as well. I do think it is important to keep it moist though. I could see how dry moss could be irritating.
