Newly Built Chicken House.

Just completed construction on our new chicken house gives me some good ideas for a future reptile house just 10x bigger and slap up some dry wall and of coarse electricity. complete with skylight
Our big boy. well turned out that way. sound funny when trying to crow sounds like a cross between a Kazoo and those new years noisemakers

well not completely done still got some shingles to put up. can't believe when we got those 11 chicks just 3 months ago they all fit in a 12pk soda box (what they came in)

Wow! Very nice chicken coop! Its very tempting to build one for my geckos as well, but I just cant bring my self to buy the lumber, lol

Not as Adults or at lest the stage they are at now. But we will put a heat lamp or two in there for the winter, especially if next year turns out like the one we just had. 19° days burrr.

Thank you everyone. Was my first time building a building and first time laying down roofing did most of it myself. Hard part was roofing around the skylight which at that point I was like Oh why did I decide to have a skylight.

The rain gods were on our side it had waited to rain for like ten days. and only started about half an hour after we finished the roof. ultimate test was a day or too after it was done it snowed for two days.
