Night lighting

So I've been doing some experimenting with Eris and her activity with and without my Exo-Terra red nightlight bulb and fixture. Though she seems a lot more active with the bulb giving her ambient air a bit more heat (60w) during the day, it seems like the light bothers her at night (squinting a bit), which is contrary to what I've read about red lamps not bothering them, so I'll be getting a 40w CHE. However, I'd still like to have a bit of light at night, as I typically feed her around 8pm and enjoy observing her. The lights in my room are CCFL, and I don't use them at night as I'm pretty sure it would interfere with her day/night cycle. All the night bulbs I see that are "moonlight" bulbs seem to put out UVA, which from my understanding, can be beneficial to their hunting, as it reflects off of bug exoskeletons. I supplement with a Herptivite once a week mixed with Rep-Cal with D3. All other feedings are done with calcium without D3, or un-dusted.

Is UVA safe for leos? She has plenty space to hide out of the light.
