Hi, I'm new to the forum just got my leopard gecko (tremper albino het for Diablo blanco) dexter a few days ago and he's acclimating well. My current housing is a 20 gallon Long aquarium, I've been in the search for a good night time light. One that doesn't emit a lot of heat but allows me to see them and doesn't interfere with there night time. I've been testing the exo terra 50w night glo bulb, but it gets soo hot really fast, also I can barely see my Leo. I've been using the night glo with just a regular lamp with a clamp not a standard reptile fixture, is this affecting the temperature. Please help.
