honestly paul i never heard of him, and i asked my sensie neither has he

paul, i think that first kid is going to get too big for his bridges and is going to get his ass handed to him by somone and never want to fight again.... just a feeling. i hope for his sake im wrong.

as far as the knife, i think its great. the only thing i would change is where he stabbed the guy. i would have locked up his arm and stabbed him in the ribs. i dont like the idea of the knife still being that close to my throat while taking him out. i would want to get that away from my neck as soon and quickly as possible

as far as the gun, i think he has too much movement in there, and i wouldnt do what he did.

Different styles.

Nevin, Alex has trained world wide for 35 years and trains law enforcement, navy seals and so on. He is one bad mofo, but everyone has a person who shadows them. One thing you can't see in the video is the fact that he's HUGE. His tattoo on his bicep is the same as the one on my THIGH. He's strong as an ox and had the dudes arm pinned with his chin. I agree about too much movement in the video and using a more Gracie style when disarming the knife ;)

That kid with the right training will never use his ability until he needs to. I know many a black belt or better that you would never know could even make a fist.

paul, i dont care how big any one is. i would prefer technique to streanth anyday. i have been practicing since i was 5 years old and have seen with my own 2 eyes just about all the styles there is.

the way he pinned the guys had to his chest is what i would do as well. but as soon as i had controle of his hand his arm would be locked up from his hand, i would pull my head out of the head lock and stab him somewhere. when he stabbed the other guy in the neck being that close he could have got blood in his eyes which would have blinded him for the moment, also the guy would have just been stabbed in the neck, he would have been flayling like crazy and could have been more than likely made alex stabbed him self after ward.

and the knife video wasnt where i seen the too much movement, it was in the gun video.

look up a man named ronald duncan. he tought and still does teach the green berrets, seals, and every other special forces there is in the US millitary. he doesnt just give them seminars, he has a contract with the millitary's special forces.

Awesome info Nevin. I have heard of him . Alex is trained in ninjitsu, so being as Ronald is in NY, maybe that was his master?

I agree that a tiny 110 asian was the baddest dude I ever ran into in a fight. The guy could kick 5 feet above his hieght and was lightening fast. Imagine a guy like Bas Rutten size with the talents of many masters that's quick, silent and nimble.. yikes. Bro, you have a big frame, it's no different besides the hieght factor and reach.

Hey Nevin, I am trained in Sig Sauer, Glock, Remingtom, HK .... :D

honestly paul my problem is that i have been in it since i was 5 like i said, and i have seen soooo much, and i have seen all of it fail until i found what i practice now. infact almost everyone i practice with hated me at first becasue i had a huge chip on my shoulder, but it was cause i have seen so much fail and expected the same again. for some reason no matter how much people practice and how long they have done it for, it all turns out to be the same..... they all just end up using their muscle and it turns into a brawl
