Well I was just sitting here chilling watching House on TV when I heard a clunk.
First thing I thought was OMG escapee. So I ran over to the reptile cages and for some darn reason I forgot to close my vision cage after tonights feedings.
Always the darn vision cage. grrr.
Well the little ninja female must of been fast cause within seconds of me hearing her fall she was gone.
But luckily after about 15 minutes of searching I found the little girl. I probably never would of seen her atleast not for awhile if it wasnt for her fat tail hanging outside of the hole in a roll of paper towels I keep by the cages. lol
Thank god I found the little girl before she got into the very hard to find spots.

Yea they like to get out. You can have the nicest setup but they still want out.

yeah for some reason on my vision cage I always forget to close the door. But I usualy catch it right away before she can get out.
The vision cage is the main reason I am switching to a rack system, that and the space it saves. Vision cages are awesome but I always forget to close the doors after feeding.
And its something I should be better at doing since I know this little girl always wants to get out since she is always at the doors watching me in my room.

I had one escape one day at 10:00 am and it took me until 12:00 am the next day to recapture him. I thought I would never find him. He went behind my entertainment system, under my bed, and a bunch of other places where I couldn't reach him. When I had all but given up I went back to cleaning my tubs, and guess who popped his little head out from the back of my rack. He just stared at me as if to say, "What took you so long?" He and his mate are the fastest Leos I've ever seen. I have four certain ones who always make it a point to make a break for it. They are notorious escape artists. It's become routine that I have to keep an eye on those four in particular. They kind of make me feel like the sheep dog that punches the time card on Looney Tunes. We have a bit of a rivalry going on, lol.
