No Electric

My electric has been out since 6am. We had a bad storm and for some reason they have not got the electric back up and running for a lot of comberland county. every time I try to call the electric company it is busy.
Lucky for us, our inlaws let us borrow their genarator. we have all the cages,racks and incubator hooked up to it. and my computer,tv and fridge.
My incubator went down to 73 degrees. The eggs are due to hatch any day now. I only have 2 in there. I am really hoping they are ok. I am thinking since they are so close to hatching that they should be ok.

Sorry to hear that Brandy. I think the eggs should be fine, the egg containers were probably warmer on the inside. When my incubator went nuts, the ones that were close to hatching did so and all were fine.

That sucks! Good luck! I'd also say they'll be fine, but if they weren't so close to hatching it'd be another story.

Well, I guess it's safe to say that the eggs are ok beings one just hatched! Yay!
