first things first, take him/her off the sand. move to paper towels, butcher paper, or tiles. you need to invest in a digital thermometer to make sure your temps are accurate. if you've only had the leo for a few days, his/her eating might just be stress related. can you post pics including the entire body and the vent? we can tell by how it looks if it's dehydrated, etc. and the vent pic will help us identify the sex.

Thank you for using the care questionaire :D

Your leo is new to you and it usually takes a week or 2 for them to feel comfortable enough to come out and explore and eat when you're around. The site, sounds and smells of your place versus where the leo came from are very evident to the leo even if it is still in the same habitat. Also you need to increase the amount of hides you have. You need one on the cool side of the tank (the side with out the under tankheater) and one on the hot side with the under tank heater. Also a moist ide to aide in shedding is also generally recommended. Being as you have yours in a 10 gallon tank and floor space is limited you can always build upwards esp if you use tupperware dishes with a hole cut in it for your moist hide, something else could stack nicely with that. Like Shawn said please change the substrait from sand to something safe for your leo. Stone tiles, vinyl self adhesive tiles (the high end ones) or uncolored natural paper would all make better safer substraits. Also feeding should be done in a dish esp. if you are feeding super worms as they can bite your leo and stress him out more putting him off food for even longer. If he doesn't eat what you give him with in 15 minutes if you don't dfish feed then you should remove the feeders, not only so they don't harass your leo but also so they aren't eating improper things in the tank like poo and then your leo eats them then you risk possible parasite infections or other health issues. You need to properly gutload your feeders with either a predesigned gutload available at stores or using things like potato, carrots and apples in their keeper bin.

Also it is suggested to keep a small gatoraide bottle cap with some plain calciumin the tank 24/7 for proper supplimentation unless you're using an all in 1 suppliment like Repashy calcium pluc icb or T-Rex brand leopard gecko dust icb by sandfire foods. If you use an all in 1 suppliment and your leo is over 7 mos old then you dust every other feeding so your leo has proper calcium/multi vitimin supplimentation, if you're not using an all in 1 then calcium dish in the tank and dust 1-3 times a week with a multi vit that contains D3 for calcium absorbtion. Don't forget to include a water dish in there somewhre as well.

Your temperatures absolutely need monitored. You should have a probe thermometer (relitively inexpensive and available at most home improvement stores and some wal marts) to monitor your hot side temperatures. It needs to be placed directly over the uth on the floor of the tank as belly heat is what is most important to leos for proper digestion. The recommended optimal range is between 88-95 degrees F. Some leos like it hotter, some like it cooler and your leo will thermoregulate between hot hides and cool hides (which is why you need at least 2 in different ends of the tank) to best suit his temperature needs.
