this is my leo i "rescued" from a large chain pet store. i have a soft spot for animals that look sick or injured so i couldnt leave him there since he was in a tiny cage with 3 other leos 2x's his size. i have no idea still if its a boy or girl but for now ill call it a boy. the day i picked him up (december 1st) he was a total of 3.5" and about 4 grams.



today marks day 17 i have owned him and he is around 4.5" to 5" and 7 grams. he just shed 3 days ago and some of his dark spots are turning grey.



today was the first day i have seen him outside his hides walking around. i was also gone on a trip for 2 days and when i got back some plants were knocked over. from what i can tell he is really happy now and getting lots of crickets and meal worms too.

Yeah IMO he was to yong to be sold already. Those large pet stores tend to not feed them the right sized food also and never have a good hide for them. I saw 2 leo's that looked like try were about to die within hours but I couldn't help them out

Yeah there is a pet store here that does the same with all of their reptiles, its horrible. Might I add its a large chain pet store. Good for you though good luck with the little guy.
