Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say hello. I'm new to the forum and I wanted to say it's very informative. I'm a longtime "snake guy" having adopted a stray RT boa, ball python and corn snake growing up. I eventually found them homes with a breeder and so it's been a while since I've had any reptiles in the house. Recently I've been getting the urge to share the fun I had growing up with my son so I started looking around for something my son and I could care for together.
Having never been a "lizard guy" I don't know why I've never considered them. They're beautiful, make a lot less poop than a 10' boa and they're a lot more manageable too.
I've done all my research, have my tank setup at home and will be going to get my first captive bred Leo on Wednesday so I'm sure I'll be poking my head in here often.
Thanks,
Pat
