I have one male and one female that I have had since September of 2011.

They are not housed together.

Chai, the female, is 58g.

Pete, the male, is 40g.

Why is he so much smaller? He always has been. Or is Chai just a fatty?

Pictures for fun!

This is Chai!

Chai looks to be a little chubby to me. I don't keep cresties, but from the videos I've seen of breeders and other keepers she seems a bit over weight. i can't really see the other to tell.

Chai could be carrying eggs.

As for weight, it depends upon the size of the gecko (frame / length wise). Just keep an eye on the body condition and don't worry unless Pete starts looking thin or bony.

You can have eggs without being housed together. They will be infertile, of course, but females can still produce eggs without a male. :) Mine lone female crestie laid a couple infertile eggs this past week.
