So, I did a search and was not able to find anything other than Ron's chart for Moose.
Does anyone have a chart or personal experience with the growth rate of a normal vs a giant? My 6 week old is 6.5 to 6.75 inches long and 16 grams today. She is out of a giant granddaughter of Moose by a genetically normal sized male so 50/50 chance of being giant. She is very laid back, has never been skittish, screamed or hissed. She will willingly get on my hand to be looked at and has from the beginning. Her attitude (for lack of a better word) mirrors her mother's and I was told that the giants are more docile.
We have never raised leos before so she could just be growing at a normal rate and seems big to me. She is only 2.5 inches away from being as long as her sire (pictures in show off your leo thread). Do they grow this fast!?!
Our experience with breeding up til now is with crested geckos and they grow very slowly...
Anyone have babies that hatched at the end of January that could tell me their length/weight? That might help a lot.
My son is hoping that she will turn out to be a giant as his female died shortly after laying. Burst follicle, vet trip, big bucks later this baby is our "miracle" baby.
Thank you in advance for any help :main_thumbsup:
