I went to New York to visit my family over the weekend and caught a pretty rare creature. My Brother and I along with my nephew were fishing at a pond in Beaver Dams New York. My nephew wanted to look for snakes so we started turning over some rocks. I went to a pretty decent sized rock and flipped it over. There I caught a approx. 5" long Northern Coal Skink. I started doing some research and found out that these are extremely hard to find. I was more than happy with my little adventure. I let my nephew keep it for a day then we let it go.. Does anyone have these little guys as pets as they look very interesting and are extremely fast..
