I have had my leo for a week now, since i introduced him to his new home he has only eaten 3 mealworms. He has been to the toilet twice and the fecies looks normal (brown with creamy white piece also looks fairly moist) so i know it is not a case of impaction. I have also tried offering crickets but he cannot be bothered to chase them. I have been offering him dusted mealies infront of him on the ground. Its almost like he cannot see them or just chooses to ignor them and walks straight past/ over them towards something he can climb on trying to peer out or the lid of the viv. It looks like he is listening for something when he does this. On one occasion i tried placing my hand near him for him to climb up on, he took this as an opertunity to use it as leverage to get over the edge of the viv. I managed gently catch him and place him back in safely then he just wanders slowly back into his warm hide. Hes temperatures are Warm= 95F Cool=71.6F. During the day he is almost always in his moist hide, he will occasionally move to his coconut cold hide as it is dark in there. At night he is mainly in his warm hide. I do not have lighting it is all natural light as he has a glass lid on his viv. Any ideas to why he is behaving like this. Its not like his ever been scared of being handeld, in the shop i held him, i held him to put him in his enclosure and he chooses to walk near my hand and allows you to stroke him on the head. Im worried to handle him incase he tries to make a run for it. He would deffinately not have any problems getting lost in the room his in if he attempted this. But mainly why isnt he eating much :/
