Ok so I just got 2 leos from Ohio Gecko and everything went GREAT, great geckos and still warm and happy when I received them.
Now it's been a week since I have gotten them and one eats fine (Albino girl) and is very active (taming her down) now the other is very slow moving (blizzard) and I never have seen her eat. I just weighed her today to see if she is losing weight.
Today I was worried so I decided to force feed her, well sorta. I just got her mouth open and she did the rest. haha I only had her eat 3 just so she has something in her system.
And yes both are housed in a 28 qt together in quarantine for a bit before they get to meet there new room mate in their normal cage. I am thinking about getting a fecal test on the blizzard but I figured any fecal will do seeing they are in the same cage but would prefer the blizzards.
Also I just want to add there is absolutely no cage aggression. They cuddle together sometimes and sometimes don't. So I don't see any dominance issues either. Any input would be GREAT.
Thanks!!

I'm not a big fan of force feeding.IMO that stresses them even more just compounding the problem of the shipping stress and then more stress getting used to their surroundings.I leave my new animals in total seclusion until they get used to their surroundings which can take 4 weeks.I offer food after a couple of days.I dont pick them up or move them in any way.

Well i just wanted to get something in her. But I won't do it again. And I guess both my geckos have different was of coping with the stress of the shipping. The blizzard is fine. haha I'll keep throwing in mealworms and see how it goes.
So you think it's just a shipping stress issue?

Maybe you should seperate them so you can monitor it's eating. I seen you on the ball python site, this is a much better place for gecko info.

It's been awhile since you posted about this, how did it turn out for you..

I have blizzards and IMO they are a tad bit fussier/ moodier/ finicky than other morphs why I dont know lol . weighing her is good now you have a reference, check her in a week or 2 if you notice weight dropping get a fecal done. its prob just stress and she will be fine. you could offer different food i have some who love 1 thing but hate another and vice versa for the next gecko. try keeping a dish of mealies all the time since they sit good and dont crawl out lol but add a couple crickets my male blizzard looooves them he has a thing for hunting lol. or try some wax or supers.
