Not eating before shedding

This isn't really an issue more of a question. My little hypo tang Cameron seems to go off food a couple days before shedding. I picked him up tonight and can tell that his skin is getting loose and ready to come off. Has any one else had geckos that do this? I have heard of snakes doing this and have one who does but haven't heard of geckos doing it.

Yes most Leo's will go off eating a couple days prior to shed...and then also for maybe a couple days after as they digest the skin! No need to worry!

that's what I figured as he has done it the past couple of times but just wanted to make sure. the skin on his tail definitely looks like it is starting to separate.
