so i have a tremper albino (pretty sure someone on here told me that's what he was) who refuses to eat crickets and will sparingly eat waxworms. he also seems to have a case of mbd in his front legs. and to top it off he's cross eyed. is there anything a vet can do? i give all my lizards a few drops of reptaid once every couple months since it's herbal. also, when do they seem to finish growing? him and his sibling are smaller than my other two un-related leos and i've had the siblings for over a year. should i make an appointment with the vet, and if so, what should i have her look into before i bring him in?

can you post pics?
mbd would be from a lack of vits and a test on waste shoulld be done to see if theres a digestive problen as to why its not eating.
also what are th temp ranges in your tank because if its too low that would affect eating to.

i'm not sure about breeds and whatnot. his temps are usually in the high 80's to low 90's depending on the room temps. the last pic is of how he normally looks. he has trouble with catching bugs too, so i think its eyesight trouble too

awww bless. well i cnt realy tell if he is an eclipse as the top pic looks normal and the bottom one dosnt!?
oh he is a real cutie though :)
i would defo book a trip to the vets about the mbd though befor it gets worse. they might put him straight on emergency treatment to try and boost his vits befor it gets worse. how long has it been like that?
his legs would defo effect his eating. have you tried putting them in the freezer for a few mins to slow them down for him?

i don't think its the speed of the crix, he just turns his nose up at them all together. i'll schedule an appointment and save a sample of poo for a fecal. his legs seem to have been like this for quite a few months. i know he was fine the first few months i had him, so i'm not positive when it started. they all have a dish of plain calcium in their tanks and get d3 once a week

the D3 needs to be upped as the D3 is needed to diffuse the calcium into the body where as without it, it just passes mostly straight out

it's a bit hard to get him to eat the d3 because he won't eat except wax worms. i can get him to lick stuff up when i hold him in my hand and touch it to his lips. should i try making him some blended food with d3? how often should i get him and the others to eat d3?

that can be a problem. if he is having probles eating a slurry mix would be a good idea just as a boost and in my experience they quite like it.
D3 should be every day to every other day as its vital to the metabolism of the calcium.
reps like beardies make their own vitamin D when exposed to uv light where as leos dont so thats why we need to give it to them.

there are many things on the net as how to make a slurry mix but they seem to have a lot of weird stuff in them. i just blits up a load of mealies and crickets with a processor. or put them in a suringe and press out the juices into a cup. if you do use a processor you can freeze the mix in an ice cube tray and defrost a cube when needed.
just add a large teaspoon of D3 and calcium to the mix (well depending on the amount of liquid you end up with)
if you press the bugs just add a few pinches of the vits
