Not Eating Shed

Somewhere in this forum there might be a question on sheds, however I have not found it. I have had geckos only for about one year now so I do not know alot. But I was under the impression that geckos always eat their sheds. . . however the gecko that I gave my nephew has since stopped eating her sheds. Should we be concerned??? I will be very sad if something happens to his gecko as he will be very distraught.
Any advice will be good thanks!

I wouldnt worry too much. My leos eat their sheds sometimes, other times they dont. Don't forget eating shed is an instinctual safe guard, they eat their shed so they wont be hunted/tracked down. They live in a tank with no natural predators so i think your alright :) Personally i notice they wont eat their shed if their "favorite" foods are in the bowl. lol its like their saving room for something tastier than skin

I have a big male Snow, that almost never eats his entire shed. However, when I rescued him, he also had consistently HORRIBLE sheds for weeeeeks. Other than that, no problems.

So only from my own anecdotal experiences, as long as the sheds themselves are fine, I wouldn't be terribly concerned about a gecko not eating its sheds. I would remove and destroy them.

However, if anyone has any conflicting information on the topic, please tell.
