HI, I m new here but not to Leo Geckos. I have a female Tremper albino for 2yrs now. It gets cold up here in NH during the winter and most of my reptiles slow down on feeding but my gecko has STOPPED all together.
5 Weeks ago I moved her from her 40g to a 20g long. She does not liked to be handled but she used to allow me to put my hand in the tank to feed. When I moved her to the new tank she bit me! :anxious: And since then is extremely scared of my hand when I need to put it in the tank for maintenance, food, water, ect. Runs around frantic.:stars: She seems to be still active and coming out to "bask" but no interest in food. Her normal staple is superworms but I also tried waxworms + pheonix worms. Her once fat tail and fat sacks on her arms are gone. She's not skinny but getting their if she doesn't eat soon.
She has 3 hides, 1 hot, 1 cool, and 1 humid hide. Cool side is ~75F Hot side was 88F but I upped it to 90F-92F. This is achieved with a UTH on a reostat(sp?) and a 50w red bulb. No other lights.
So what esle can I do?
TIA
