Hey guys we picked up this little girl back over the summer and she isn't growing much. Current weight is 40g. Her tail looks good and I haven't seen any signs of MBD. We've been feeding dubias, mealies, and small supers. Supplementing with reptical and repashy. She's by herself in a 15 quart bin in a animal plastics rack heating to 94 degrees. I've included a picture of her next to one of our other girls that's 78 grams for a size comparison. Any thoughts? Are some just smaller than others? Thanks!

How old is she? Where did she come from? She might just be naturally smaller, or if she came from a bad home, her growth may have been stunted. She still looks like a decent size, even if she is on the small side.

She's around 9 months. We got her from a classified ad (We've since learned better). We've had since July when she was 33 grams. I thought she'd of doubled that by now.

Nothing wrong with getting them from a classified ad. You might well have given her a better home than she had before. :) How long is she and how much does she weigh now? She looks very healthy, so honestly, I wouldn't be worried if I were you. If she came from a home where she wasn't being properly fed or supplemented, her growth could have been stunted. Or maybe she's just a slow grower. Or maybe both her parents were small. The possibilities are endless, but as long as she's healthy, that's what matters.

Is the one she's next to the same age? I honestly don't know weight/ages for leos, but 40 grams for 9 months doesn't seem very small. I know for breeding it's suggested the female be a year and at least 50 grams, so 40 grams at 9 months seems right just based on that. Hopefully someone else can weigh in. But I'm sure she's fine. :)
