I got my gecko 2 days ago and he dont move much out of hide, Is this a problem?

he's probaby stressed out from the move/new environment. plus they're nocturnal. i worry about mine too once in a while but as long as i see him open his eyes or squirm a little bit i figure he's just comfy in his hide and will come out when he feels like it.

Once mine found her hide (as a baby) she didnt come out for a week... shes almost a year old now and she hasnt come out for over 2 weeks...

i wanted to make sure mine was ok so i lifted up his hide and touched him on his side, he just kinda tensed up but didn't jump away from me or anything which worried me even more, but then he started moving around, went back in his cave and ate a couple mealies i put in front of the door before moving over to his humid hide.
i guess i wouldn't really like it if a giant pulled up my bedroom, woke me up and poked me either though so i can understand why he acted kinda grumpy.
