Not sure if this is the best place to post, info on crabs?

As the thread title states, I am looking to aquire a Halloween crab in a few weeks, and was curious if anyone had any information on them or terrestrial crabs in general.

I had a small group a while back, pretty cool, much more entertaining than hermit crabs. i just kept min in a 15 long, with 1/5 water, the rest a peat/sand/gravel mixture. Im not sure what is best for them, but they got my left overs for about a year.

so, pretty hardy creatures? and when you say leftovers you mean human food? i have read that they will eat pretty much anything. did your ever chirp?
