this here is my new buddy Big Guy. I got him from a family friend that was moving and decided to give him to me.
the only problem is that I don't know what he is, I have heard pattern-less albino, leucistic (have a blue eyed leucistic ball python so seemed unlikely), also heard just high yellow. Was hoping you guys might be able to help me out as well as what might be a good gene to breed him with once I have enough knowledge to do so (not for a while :))

idk for sure..I have "raptor's" on my brain because I just got some,...the general description might fit:
R_ed-eye
A_lbino
P_atternless
T_angerine OR_ange.

If it is albino, it will have red veins in those yellow/brown eyes because albino geckos can't produce the black pigment...even though it may look almost black.

Also, when you breen a gecko with "unknown genetics" you get about 16-20 "unknown genetics hatchlings." Most people agree that breeding "unknowns" isn't wise unless you have a rare discovery and are test-breeding it as a newly-found morph (or something similar.

Read the link below...I am just repeating what has been explained to me 100 times...lol And when I started planning my first project, I also realized the importance of "known genetics" (from professional breeders). For example, if you want hatchlings with a "gene" from the mother, you probably have a 3-year process ahead of you before you SEE the result....it's faster to buy a "known" Leo and get results within a year (often).
