I seperated my male from the females when l found out he was a male.

A week later I started hearing this clik clik scrap :::Crash::::
I took me three days to find out what it was.
it was the male he would clime to the the top of the tree and jump to the other side of the cage or fall off if he didnt have his feet right.
so i made him a little stand that was just a little higher off the ground and I didnt get any sleep that night he had so much fun he didnt eat anything untell i tryed to take his food out and then he ate it fast before i could get it. all night i heard scrap scrap click click ::::: Crash :::: as he would jump off of it.

Hes not even jumping towards the females hes just jumping from one high spot to the next. most of the time he dosnt make it. but he was he was so happy the times he dose.
He is not trying to escape hes just jumping.

I have mixed feeling about this
a. I am afraid he is going to hert him self doing it.
b. I want to give him somthing else he can clime on. (hes having so much fun.)

what is your oppionon about this and

Can you recomend anything I can give an acrobatic lepard gecko.

Side note. I have went back and watched my videos of them and found that he always liked to clime on stuff.

You can get him the climby things that are like the hammocks. I never tried them but I think it works. Also how high does he jump to the ground. Cause leopard geckos can drop like 4-6 inches and not get hurt. Could i see a video of it please? :D

he jumps across his 10 gallion tank cage. he holds onto what ever he can when he gets their and starts climing again. he only jumps about 1/2 in to a inch high but hes jumping out not up.

about the video he watches me and seems to get stage fright when i have my camera on. even if its not pointed at him he can sence it or somthing he will slowly walk down and get inside his house. I did get some video of him climing the stand i made for him. I didnt think he could clime straight up paper.

he has even played tricks on me to get me to pick him up. he will pretend hes traped just as im watching he will do it and i will run to his side and then he will claw my hand and pull himself up and try to get all the way on my hand before i notice. then just sit there like hes saying "ok im ready to go". That is why i have named him "Loki"

LOL! Sounds like "Loki" is the perfect name for him! What a handful he must be! :D

lol a little off topic but not really, one time my (usually tame) gecko flat out superman-ed herself off my hand as i was walking over to the couch with her for play time. she looked like a little flying squirrel through the air until she plopped down on the shag rug i have in my living room. (i'm just glad she didnt do it over the hardwood floors!) she fell like 4 feet! (thats like....80 gecko stories haha) anyways she came out ok. if you can get video of this acrobatic leo, i'd love to see it!

sounds like my leo - Run up to the top of the second level, look around, hang by her back toes and then *SPLAT* onto the tile.

I'm sure she gets some kind of freakish thrill out of it - I think too many days in the pet store damaged her tiny little lizard brain :)

So is there any ideas on what to get loki so jump on and to.

Yes loki is a handfull
yesterday I was cleaning his water dish and he climed as fast as he could to the highest place in the cage and calmly waked into his water and look at me like "ok I ready to go to". not to menshin the times he pertendes to get stuck somwhere " i seen him do it " and then squrms like he cant get out. Hoping i will try and help and he will then step on my hand and then uses his tell to push himslef higher on my hand. I still fall for it from time to time.

Lately he has been moving his tree and climing stand around the cage.
